I just can't find it. Is anyone able to just post the link to the .dmg within the apple developer forum please.

It's under where you redeem the code for DP4 in your member center. It took me about 3 tries. It's the last place I would have looked for it.

does anyone have installed Facebook developer preview for OsX?? Does it works?

i have installed it. it only shows the sharing stuff (safari & notificationcenter) but it don't show me my facebook-notifications in the center...

Maybe a stupid question so don't rip me to bad over it but when the Facebook add-on comes in the fall, will it be an update to ML or will it be a paid addition?

I know IOS 6 for the iPad and iPhone etc will be getting it but how will our iMacs receive it?

Fairly new to mac.. bought my first 1 year ago and now have the iPhone 4, iPad 3 and iMac computer.

It will be free and probably be a part of the 10.8.2 Software Update, which is free.

Any ideas why it's not out until "fall"? Possibly due to lack of external testing perhaps.

probably due to privacy concerns. I imagine they are making sure there is no way Facebook could make apple look bad in privacy or that facebook integration doesnt add more exploits.

My WAG is that they decided on Facebook way late and thought that it’s full implementation would take longer to work on given the implementation. Apple probably said that Facebook can wait a little while rather than delay the whole OS for a month.

I see it as a small add-on when they do a 10.8.x release.

Is it possible not to have FB contacts in your address book?

If you don't want it, don't turn it on. You can still post to FB, receive notifications from FB. Contacts syncing is a separate switch that you can turn on and off any time.

The later, the better...I couldn't care less about having Mark Sugarloaf's intrusive "integration" of FB ino OS X.
...u won't see ANYTHING if you won't enter your FB login-data in some sub-menu...I'd hardly call that intrusive o0
