I would never pay to use Facebook or any social site. I just don't care that someone updated their status to just went to the bathroom.

So you would make an app that supported push right now? You'd probably lose all your user base once the official app comes out with push updates anyway, so what is the point?

For the record, I'd probably not pay $5 for it. I have push email on my iPhone for requests and BeeJive for Facebook chat.
