I agree. It's definitely lower grade, and I might (or maybe I am just seeing things) say that the 11.6" MBA's camera is worse! However, it could be the angle differences since I set it in the same position but it's shorter.

Back to the forum purpose, which computer do you enjoy more all around, MBA or MBP? Is the MBA your primary Mac? Just curious as I am getting all sorts of different opinions from my friends and colleagues who have bought new MBAs.

I took pictures of myself with my MacBook Air Facetime camera(right) and with my MacBook Pro iChat camera(left). I've noticed that they are quite similar. However the MacBook Pro pictures seem to be shot at a higher resolution and size. Which one do you guys think is better?

Finally, someone has come clean to compare the 2 cameras instead of just griping about the differences. For that, I thank you greatly.

Now, to hit the comparisons - I have to say the MacBook Pro is better, but the MacBook Air isn't close behind. This is because I'm noticing something. The quality of Apple's webcams has gone way down. Neither of these seem as good as what I've seen. My girlfriend and my friends girlfriend have 2009 and 2008 white MacBooks, respectively. Those webcams both look a lot better than these two.

However, posters, I'mma letchu finish, but Beyonce has one of the best Webcams of ALL TIME.

If you are Beyonce and want to chat with the cam you can afford videocalls on your phone ....don't know if the price is high is the US but here in Europe is the same as regular call.

Can you post the "Get Info" screen from each of the photos? Should tell us which one's got more pixels and the exact specs of each.

Both are low quality but it's okay for a laptop. Just use it under bright light.
