Ok NWN2 is point and click, will not do that, and for the list of games I refuse to play, I refuse to play them because they are stupid xp

Can't believe noones mentioned Eve Online yet. Native mac client and a huge and thriving ingame community with heavy political and pvp bias.

Maybe because most people who try it, find it to be a mind and soul-crushing bore? Eve appeals to a very specific type of gamer. One that there aren't too many of out there.

Point-and-click movement is only an option, just like most RPGs. I use WASD for movement, just like I do in almost every other game I play.

I refuse to play: guild wars, everquest, vendetta, and eve online

EverQuest: Mac Edition is actually a great game

I'm guessing that if someone doesn't like WoW, chances are they're not going to like EQ either.

I don't think everyone has to like WoW, but can you name a better MMORPG that's out now? It's going to take a hell of a game to topple it. Anyway it sounds like the OP isn't interested in your typical MMORPG. Perhaps a Diablo style game would be to their liking though. Dungeon Siege is very fun, and if you're willing to use Windows, Dungeon Siege II is nearly as fun, very long, and you can play it cooperatively with someone.

I got an invite to the Mythos beta and played it very shortly. Looks a *lot* like Diablo (same developers), but MMO as well. Didn't play enough to know how fun it would be - one MMO at a time is enough as it is.

For a more action-oriented type of RPG, Phantasy Star Universe isn't bad. Even better is Phantasy Star Online via a private server (since SEGA took it's servers offline). They're both Windows games, though.

You insist it sucks, but act as though you've never even tried it. It is as close to a free-to-play (Persistant Worlds) WoW-like game as you can get IMHO. That said, your replies make you sound like you are simply trolling.

There is always Shadowbane if all you want is PvP.

I don't know how eve online has been overlooked, especially as it is now native on mac. one of the most, if not the most, immersive MMORPG that ive ever played
