I’ve been rewatching Season 1, and was surprised at how many real world location were used in this series vs CGI.

Not completely hooked on the show, think I am 4 or 5 episodes in. Not the complete garbage that Disney has been spitting out, and the show does have entertaining moments. This type of apocalyptic world just does not grip me as others like the walking dead, which I find much easier to believe this is how people would react. I tried the game for Fallout, not sure which one, have the game on PS4. Huge fan of open worlds and did like the style of the game, but again the world just does not hook me in.

Compared to the Game which I have been deeply involved in, the show feels distinctly different, but enjoyable in a different way.The Brotherhood of Steel are real *******s compared to the game. Yes, in the game, they’re intolerant of fouls and artificial life, and we’re zealots, but it never got to the same level of religious fanaticism and cruelty seen in the show, at least Fallout 4. I wasn’t as nearly into Fallout 3 and didn’t complete that game, so no experience with the brotherhood of steel there.

2025- A second watch and a solid thumbs up. My critique is that there are a lot of strange people, which is just different than the game. And the plot is a doozy. The game never (at least I don’t remember taking it this far) went as sinister as the series story (armmageddon orchestrated by capitalists for a business advantage, but maybe not as strange as you might think). What happens in the game is sinister enough, but represents the act of just one vault, not a conspiracy that involves all vaults, but as I think about it, it would not be all that far fetched.
