Well, after hashing this out in Excel, I'm now about 95% sure that my fears have been confirmed--we WILL have to pay $30 for the second line of a so-called "family plan," unlike AT&T's standard plans which include the 2nd line in the price. It would also seem that the iPhone plans are mostly AT&T's standard plans available now. Here's a graph that I made for comparison purposes (feel free to repost):

Here's a colorized version... the yellow are the same, and the green are the same. The grey area represents where the iPhone plan is actually better than the regular plans when it comes to high minute use!
