while i'd personally never purchase any farting app (cluttering up my iphone menu is annoying enough as it is), I can't see why apple would turn away anything that would generate rev.

did the smoking app make its way into itunes? (i have some reservations about that app as well)

If people want farts, give them farts! Don't blame developers for making fart apps, blame Apple for not having a better browsing system. It is a market economy and developers will supply the demand. I personally downloaded one of the free fart apps and it came in handy when I really had to let one rip. Blamed it on the iPhone! just kidding

No I did not create a fart app but I wish I did!

I cant believe the massive influx of copycat Pull My Finger applications that have jumped on the farty bandwagon.

Well you may be right about some of these apps, but assuming they are all copycats would be wrong. Just like "Pull My Finger" got rejected months ago, so did tons of other apps, including WhoopieCushion and others that you can read about online.

Since so many have been rejected and now allowed, there is a flood to the appstore because apple started accepting them all at the same time; if they never rejected them in the first place, it wouldn't have been a problem.

And although you hate the apps, the some 36,000 people who have downloaded the free WhoopieCushion makes me believe there is some people who want it.
