Fast charging not working on iphone 8 Plus

Has anyone else tried fast chargin on the iphone 8 plus yet? I bought the apple wall outlet and the apple lightning to USB-C cable and when I hook it up to the phone I get a "Device not Supported" prompt. It does not charge the phone at all 🙁

I just tried it with the 29w charger + usb-c lightning cable. Both from Apple.
30/60/90min => 53/81/94%

After 2h6min 100%

Am running 11.0.1 on my 8+.

If all else fails, try the following steps.

Restart the iPhone using the slider; soft reset.

Reset All Settings

Restore from iTunes

Any one of (or all of) these steps should solve about 99.9% of problems IF they are software related.

If not, I would make an appointment at the Apple Store and take it in for evaluation or replacement.

Fast Charging is working on both my 8 and 8+.
