Is there a recommended fast charger for iPads and iPhones?
Or even a good quality fast charging cable whatever?

Use the charger than came with the iPad mini 5. I don’t believe the mini supports fast charging. If it does, I don’t see it listed.

Use an Apple certified charger and you'll be good to go. 🙂
