Best: iMac G4
Why: Awesome design, quality hardware (for the time)

Worst: iMac G3 Flower Power and Blue Dalmation
Why: they were ugly as crap, had a retarded mouse, and were notorious for bad screens, then they topped that off with the worst patterns in the history of mankind)

Other favorites: Pismo (my current server after 6 years, find a year 2000 PC that can do that), Tibook (turned me from the dark side, but never owned one)
Other abhorrences: Pretty much any clone, iMac G5 (ugly compared to it's predecessor), 14" iBook (no raison d'être whatsoever)

a lot of people are hatin on the eMac.
why?
I don't know really, i guess its because I use to use them last year in high school and wasn't a big fan of them then because I always wanted to use the powermac g5's :) They are reliable computers, don't like the shape of them, but i love the color!:p

Favorite: Powerbook G4 12-inch

Least Favorite : Hum, well probably something from long ago. However, of the current models probably the 14 iBook. It's beautiful, but I don't get the bigger display without resolution increase.

Most favorite: B/W G3/300, still my everyday home computer.

Least favorite: 6100 PPC; ugly and slow.

I am wondering why people are dishing the eMac, we have one, my kids and wife use it. It has been running for over a yr. now without one problem.

Personally, I like the eMac's shape. Didn't like the screen.

Then again, I liked the Bondi Blue iMac and the hockey puck mouse.

Wow, that's 3 (you, me, and Steve Jobs!)

Actually, I want to change my previous answer, the eMac wasn't my least favourite Mac, I was confusing it with another All In One.

This Blech!

Good to hear more than one of us liked the BB with hockpuck mouse! :D

Reference your All-In-One mention. We used to call it the brain. Sort of looks like one from the top. Wierd looking for sure. Had some decent expandability for the time. Thought that the newly released iMac was a much better deal for the money.

You got to be kidding?!?! This is the most popular classic mac of all time! I know the specifications are bad but from a design standpoint it's one of my tops.

I know what you mean, I don't for one second pretend that MacBook Pro's and the new Intel stuff are slow and I know there have been big performance boosts and whatever. But it's just too much of a wrong feeling for me to accept. As for the mini's...even from a purely power prospective it's not clear cut over the integrated graphics but in any case even if the x86 mini's had x1600's I'd rather take the prettier inside G4. My journey with Apple was very short...I really wish they had stayed with PowerPC cause I had so much to look forward to and thought I had finally found a company that wasn't just in it for the money. I won't be buying another apple product. I'll buy those really expensive G4 upgrades (with 1Mb L2 cache!) you can get for PowerBook's off of Daystar and a bigger faster hard drive and live out all enternity with a unique elegant computer that will be using what will eventually be an antiquated OS (due to apple dropping PowerPC from new releases), but I'll be proud and happy in my own way.

Well I hope you can at least see why I am this way...

Perhaps someday there will once again be elegant hardware and software on one platform. If there is...I will see you there!

Favorite: Power Mac G4 (Quicksilver) and the iMac G5/Core Duo.
Least Favorite: iMac G3. We had them at my school, horrible. But they were 4-5 years old (school got rid of them last year.).

Yes i really reaaally do not like the 14 in ibooks. I don't really see the point of them, and the displays on them are so dim and un-crisp. On the other hand i love the 12 in ibooks (especially the early g3 style bodies)
