to be honest, the biggest appeal of ffffound is the exclusivity. It makes it more "desirable", but also makes it less cluttered by junk than more open photography/graphic design sites like it.
I know FFFFound invites can be hard to come by and I think there is too much great inspiration out there to try and hide so I created two sites of my own to quench my inspiration and bookmarking thirsts.
Both sites work like FFFFound in that you can use a bookmarklet to save any image on the web to your collection, you can add other images from the site to your collection and you can follow other users to see what they are adding. There is no recommendation engine like on FFFFound, but there is also no bloat with tags, comments, who likes what, etc.
I just wanted a place where I can save my favorite work and figured others would want to do the same in a place with no clutter. If you sign up for one site your account transfers over to the other site as well. Hope some of you find the sites useful and best of luck with FFFFound invites. They are impossible to come by, I would know since I've been trying for about 18+ months now.
Hi, Iv been browsing the internet for ages to find an FFFFound invite. I made this account to get one. If you want to trade or have some free invites left hit me at: rrx123@gmail.com
I would be more than happy to get one, thanks.
