As an iPhone user that has recently switched to the S III. I can say there is definitely a learning curve that takes place. My S III has been able to coexist peacefully with my MacBook Pro, iPad 3, and Apple TV just fine. Maybe not as seamlessly as my iPhone did, but it certainly works. When you're used to the iOS way of doing things it can be a bit nerve racking trying to get the Android OS to function the same, but otherwise it's not so bad. I think the flagship Android phones do away with the perceived bugginess better than some of the average, and older models. But for me it was the hardware that was tempting more so than the OS. iOS does a lot of things better than Android, and some things Android does better. The only to truly see what's out there is to dive right in. Sorry for the long rant, hope you enjoy your S III!

I don't have the GS3 so I can't speak to that, but I do have moved from a iPhone 4s to a HTC One X a few month ago.

I don't regret the move one bit and have been very pleased with Android and my device.
It took some time to get used of doing things other then the iOS way but once I got passed to compare how things where done and embraced the new way I really liked it.

There things that work better on Android and others on iOS.
At first synching was a big problem for me as my whole house is Apple centric.
But I got passed that and found ways to make it work in an easy way.
I do miss some things like iMessage since many friends and family have iPhones especially the ones in Germany.

As far as apps go I have not come across something I could not find on Android vs iOS at the play store and most of the Android versions are free or much cheaper then the iOS version.

I never had any of the problems some here say all android devices have or what they experienced so I really question some of those people.

If you take your time to learn android and stop comparing it to what you are used to you will find your new device to be awesome, I'm sure of that.

Enjoy your new phone.

Have you found found something on android that simular to imessage that can be used on both platforms? I want to give android a try again but imessage and some other things is kind of holding me back. New android phones are coming out this holdiday season and it will be stupid for me to go purchase a SG3 even though it's very tempting.

Yes I'm using Whatsapp which is available for all OS's and free to use.
The app is free on Android but is $.99 for iOS.
