FINALLY got a preorder thru apple.com

Just got mine tonight as well. apple delivered 24th .....32GB black iPhone 4!!! :D

I noticed that, for some reason, even though my billing address was correct, Apple.com had my shipping address as one of my old addresses (2007-vintage.)

Prior to completing my order, I went into my profile and deleted that address completely. As a result, when I went back to my cart, the shipping address was now the same as the billing address.

If you have not already placed your order, just go to your profile and put your work address in as your shipping address.
 
I don't know if it matters but I couldn't get the order to go through on mozilla or opera, probably doesn't but I'm just sayin.
 
I got mine after 8 hours 16gb black also got email from apple conforming order 6/24/ 2010 delivery
 
i started this thread right after my order went thru at apple.com, and its 9:00pm est now, and i just got the confirmation email.

p.s i used a debit card, and my billing was different than my shipping address, and everything went fine. says my iphone will be here on the 24th and my bumper will ship on the 25th. so im excited.
 
how much do they charge to pre order. I'm confused if I fill everything out, how much will they charge me if it's shipped to my house.
 
my att contract has been up for about 4 months so i was eligible for the 299$ 32gb iphone 4. and they charged my card instantly. tax was about 18$ or so. and its shipping to my house

just keep trying, mine went thru randomly while i was mindlessly typing in my info over and over lol. i hope you get yours.
 
I got through at 4:30pm pst. got a confirmation number and they billed (authorized)my CC but no email. The problem is the ATT billing address came up as my home email address and they will only ship there. I even changed my billing addy of my CC to my work address. Was afraid to go back and start changing stuff as it would prob blow up again. Hopefully I can work from home on the 24th.

I'm in the same boat. No confirmation email yet - finished the order 2.5 hours ago. Let's hope they're just backlogged.
 
Finally got my confirmation email, 2.5 hours later. So don't worry too much if you just placed your order, and haven't gotten it yet.

Looks like AT&T's servers are finally upgraded to handle more than 10 orders. I just got my two iPhone 4's ordered. 14 1/2 hours later. <s> Nice job, AT&T, nice job. </s>

Interenting side note though - my first order for a 32GB phone said "Ships: June 24". The 16GB one i ordered next said "Ships: Delivers June 24". Hmm… why the difference???

My order through Apple...around 1600 PDT...says "Ships: Delivers on June 24"

I'll be canceling my reservation at my Apple Store.

As frustrating as today was, it was kind of fun too. Haha. Only because my order finally went through. Haha.
 
Just use Opera browser. After trying for 12 hours i finally installed Opera.

Got it in the first try.
 
Just got my confirmation email!

Order status on Apple's website still won't come up.

thats funny after i tried and tried for about 11 hours, once i got my order in i was like. "damn now what, im bored lol"
