I downloaded the Infuse app. It can access locally stored video. Offers list view and supports split view, PIP and AirPlay. I'm liking it so far though I wish the list view included date. $12.99

Be prepared to keep paying for it.

I can't be the only person missing autoplay next episode?? Why remove it entirely, just give the option to turn on or off.
Videos app was great...easy to use, easy to manage content.

Plus, help me out here, but why would you call it "TV" when you already have "Apple TV"??? Confuses people, makes it hard to find support simply for TV App and not Apple TV.

You are not, I loved the auto play of the next episode this app is just pure ****, Videos was so easy to use.

I don't have a problem with so-called flat design. I have a problem with way too much white space.
I use nPlayer. Similar to your player but it can also handle music playback. Also allows me to play video with subtitles. Has DTS support as a paid feature. $12.99 one-time charge. An anime lover must-have app.
