I just downloaded Firefox last night, and i have noticed that it is considerably faster than Safari. Am i crazy, or is there something that explains this?

Seconded. I almost eclusively use Camino, despite those figures quoted, I have always found it boots faster and responds much quicker than Safari and since I got my Mac when Firefox was not universal, it was much faster than that too. May have changed a little, but in theory it should still be faster than Firefox, and I use Safari at times at work and it appears to stilll be zippier than that.dynamicv said:If you really want to see speed, go for one of the optimised builds of Camino.
