I´ve been having some strange battery drains with my AirPods when they were just sitting in the case, was actually about to contact support. Updated yesterday and charged before I went to bed. Still at 100%/100% charge this morning. This actually may have fixed it. Fingers crossed :)

Update seems to have solved my odd battery drain... I had the case AND AirPods themselves discharging while not in use. Today, with use the battery is in much better shape then before.

Battery drain fixed for me too.
Charged yesterday evening. I have not used them today and they are still 100% this evening.

Charged both AirPods and the case last night at 100/100. Unplugged it before going to bed. I first used it day at 5 pm. AirPods and charging case was still at 100%. Seems like it's fixed but will have to see what happens after I plug it in the charging case when done.

seems to me the update has stopped battery drain.

Checked the pods 3x today and they are still at 100%. It's been around 24 hours.

My battery life is really good on the AirPods now. I agree with @MTShipp, they just need to fix the disconnects

This update has made all the difference in the world for me.

Beforehand, I had to recharge every 2-2.5 days thanks to the battery drain.

After the update, I'm going over a week with the same usage.

Before the update, while the AirPods were in the case they were ALWAYS charging - they always had the lightning bolt symbol beside them - even when at 100%. Now after the firmware update, I don't see a lightning bolt when opening the case with the AirPods at 100%. Glad to see Apple fix this so quickly.

Update definitely fixed battery problems. I managed find a decent battery lifetime after unpairing a few times, but since the update these things are unstoppable. The case seems to last forever.
