Lately Face ID is so fast and easy that its... magic. Phone is in my lap and catches face. Or sitting in upright wireless charger too.

Fixed that for ya. Maybe its more accurate for you, but its not for me. I work in swimming pool construction. Either my hands are dirty, wet, or I have gloves on. Not to mention the home button gets really dirty during the day. I cant use TouchID on a daily basis. FaceID is more accurate, for me :)

That's a fair comment but probably over 99.9% of iPhone users do not work in swimming pool construction.

P.S. I have absolutely nothing against FaceID. The fact is for most people TouchID is more accuracte and faster than FaceID. What Apple should have done was incorporate both technologies.

FaceID is just as fast as touchId was......I went from a 5S to the X256 and I have not had a problem at all with FaceID even in the dark. It works. Fast. Accurate. By the time I am even ready to swipe up it is unlocked.

The camera is pretty nice. Portrait lighting is comical. I love the storage. Wifi sometimes freezes for a few minutes but I am not sure what chip I have, Qualcomm or Intel......I get great LTE coverage where ever I go.....over all I am happy with my phone.

I just need a computer now that process 4K video and then I can really see what it can do.....

Face ID fails for me far more often than Touch ID ever did. It also requires me at times to tilt the screen towards me closer than I would like to. I also can't unlock off a flat surface and that really annoys me. I believe Face ID will get better over the years with improved technology but for now it's more frustrating day to day versus Touch ID in my experiences.

FaceID works reasonably well if your at the perfect angle....it's not flexible at all.

TouchID was far superior.
