My iPod nano decided to start the day with some 80s British pop...
  • Wham! "Everything She Wants (Remix)", from the 12" single.
  • Nik Kershaw "Wouldn't It Be Good", from Human Racing.
  • Yazoo "Nobody's Diary", from You And Me Both.

EDIT: Funny; soon after these three, two Depeche Mode early hits and a song from Duran Duran's Rio have played. And it's not even 9 AM yet.
 
My first three full plays this morning:

The Damned "Is It A Dream", from Phantasmagoria.
Provision "Into The Fray", from Paradigm Shift.
Dubstar "Stars" (Motiv8 Asteroid Vocal Mix), from the Passion Traxx compilation (volume 2).

Admittedly, I skipped a couple of songs, including "The Out Of Control Medley", a Janet Jackson megamix from the Hot Tracks 15th Anniversary Collection. Hot Tracks was a DJ remix service, active mainly during the 80s and 90s, that released lots of decent DJ-only remixes and megamixes. This particular one, alas, was not one of them-- way too many cliche' dance sample overdubs and mood-ruining a cappella dropouts.
