The True Tone complaints I feel is another 'Mac Rumour' gripe & possibly wouldn't concern most people. I think it's subtle/seemless & works well....probably because I've had my TV's set to 'Warm' colour temperature (as that's the THX standard - warmer colour temp result in more realistic skin tones etc.).

What about the camera bump bothers you? Is it just the aesthetic aspect? I’ve been using it since the 6 and you kinda just forget it’s there after a while. And it’s on the back of the phone which I rarely look at.
Don't.
:eek:

Case = no bump.

Don't.
:D

Because others conflate True tone Being to yellow, or, for those who don’t know what True tone is if it’s enabled, they think their phone might be defective with a yellow display. The iPhone has mainly been known for having a white, bluish, stark display, and True tone is a completely different type of feature correcting the white point based on the ambient lighting in the room. The shift to warmer displays started with the iPhone 7, as where the 6/6s were calibrated entirely different.

Windows 10 also has a similar feature called Night-Light (although it's more comparable to Night Shift), but where it improves on Night Shift is that it's able to detect sun-set times of your location & turn on the yellow shift at that time....so I guess in this regard, it also places it in True Tone territory.
