I thought I’d be careful as I charged my old iPhone once with my iPad charger By accident and it went funny after it. (IPhone 6)
I’ve always used iPad chargers on my iPhone. People like me are probably why Apple aren’t going to include the chargers with the iPhones anymore.

I currently use an Anker 45w charger for my iPad Pro 12.9 and the wife’s MacBook Air, I’ve not even taken the charger out of the iPad box.

Hi all,

I have an iPad Air 1, and it's showing its age. Slow, small RAM causing apps to die, etc, so I'm going to get an iPad Pro 12 inch.
Question is, do I wait until the A14 model comes out? Rumours seem to suggest a small chance of it this year, more likely next year.
Once I learned the 2020 iPad pro has the A12 chip, same performance as the 2018 model, I'm wondering should I just wait?
Ordered - 12.9 256 WiFi Space Grey, AppleCare+, Magic Keyboard, Apple Pencil 2.
Can someone call my wife and explain ....

I'm sure you are going to enjoy your new iPad. I also have the original iPad Air and have been thinking about getting a new iPad. Mainly because the Air is pretty full. But I might try to wait until the next chip.

I thought about holding off until the next chip, it'll either be out in November or March (more likely). However, I have a need for the ipad now - mainly for work and study.

I got a cheap case off Amazon which arrived today, and I must say the size is absolutely perfect. I was worried it might be a bit big, but it's absolutely ideal - looking forward to reading tech books on this and making notes.

Coming from me I would say go for it and get the 12 inch now, the A12Z is far beyond what Apple currently has available and waiting for another big increase a like of capabilities nothing much would change even if Apple releases a new iPad Pro (most likely early next year)

Don’t forget Apple care 🙂

That isn’t really a charging problem. All my iPhones have used the iPad chargers and never had a problem. Maybe you had a hardware issue or something simultaneously that surfaced at the time. Apple devices are clever enough to pick the amount of charge they can deal with.
