The new titles include:

Throughout May, there will also be updates to current Apple Arcade games like Hello Kitty Island Adventure, WHAT THE CAR?, and Ridiculous Fishing EX, with further updates to come in June.

Accessible through the App Store, Apple Arcade is a subscription-based service that provides access to hundreds of games across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro, all free of ads and in-app purchases. The service received its first price increase last year, with U.S. pricing rising from $4.99 to $6.99 per month.

I seen Tomb and thought… Tomb Raider on Apple TV…wow

And then read it properly… 5 more reasons why its still not worth it. 🤔🧐

Id rather spend 5 on a game I'm really going to play than 5 a month on games i just wont play.

Apple Arcade continues to be a joke , just like Gaming from apples POV , they refuse to reach out to studios to port games. the Mac will never be a gaming platform. not because its not capable, but because apple do not want it so. your talking 8 major Mac ports a year if that, and they are all games from 2-3 years ago.

at this point apple. just give up mentioning gaming at WWDC please. your embarrassing. your self.

Apple boasting about gaming basically become a form of virtue signaling towards gamers at this point.

The one in charge of Apple Arcade surely never played video games ever.

I think they reached a new low of introducing close to hypercasual games like Wedding Disaster+ (but with a budget).
You can create quality game in this genre as it was already done on Nintendo platforms : Style Savvy. But no, they will just serve whatever crap they can think of.

Are there any first person shooters? Grand Theft Auto? I mean just port something over that doesn't look like a teletubbies show

Of course not. It's Apple.

When they've got a device like the AVP that just screams for porn and first person shooters, and they think a house of cards building game is somehow what people want... well, Apple has no concept of reality.

I activated Apple Arcade yesterday because my son wants to play Horizon Chase 2. I asked him if he wanted to browse the other games with me too see anything other he wants to play. But he didn't care, just wants it for that one game 😄

I think Apple pigeon holed themselves with Apple Arcade by advertising it as family/kid friendly. Although there have been some strange exceptions, but none that most would notice. Don't ever expect GTA on Apple Arcade.

I think at this point Arcade is meant to be a kids' playground. And I don't say that pejoratively, many people want that considering how much scum is on the app store masquerading as games.

What you refer to is a separate problem, and you're right, but Arcade is never going to be that.

Xbox & Playstation are done for. Apple is already the #1 gaming company in the world and it's only getting more powerful.
I don’t think Microsoft and Sony will ever have gaming related revenue anywhere near Apple’s. I don’t think Xbox and Playstation are done for, though. While Apple has the lion’s share, there’s still enough variety in gaming of all kinds for others to carve out a profitable niche.

I’m happy with my subscription, but I am very much a casual gamer. Slat the Spire is what’s taking up most of my “gaming time”… That said, I feel Apple is holding back Arcade a lot by mandating cross-platform. I think some games could be much more innovative if you didn’t have to be able to use either touch, keyboard/mouse or TV remote within the same game.

What a load of junk, Rabbids could have been good it if wasn’t a cars game.

I'm happy with my sub as well. If I add up just the non-exclusive games I've played in the past year, I think they add up to $300 on Steam. Non-sale prices of course. Not bad for $50 bucks. Also, I love listening to podcasts while gaming so the two apps work flawlessly together for that.
