I use Things almost daily and I absolutely love it. On the one hand it’s incredibly fast to just quickly write down a todo but on the other it also gives you plenty of advanced options. Plus the design is beautiful.

Same here. Using Things was a game changer for me and I couldn’t imagine my day-to-day without it now. It‘s also structured from the popular “Getting Things Done” (GTD) methodology, so is perfect for any who know and love that productivity framework.

Note to moderators: the last grouping option is “Someday,” not “Sunday.”

Been hearing a lot about Notion lately... how does it compare with Trello for example if anybody knows? And for those that also know Omnifocus, how is it Notion vs Omnifocus? (I know none of those two)

When I hear "bother me relentlessly until I do it", I think of the "Due" app, which can do precisely that. I don't know how well it will fit your other needs.

Mac-only? Aside from the iOS(/iPadOS) version, I believe they now have a web version, for those forced to occasionally use Windows (or a Mac they can't install things on).

You're right, they do have a web version now, although it was somewhat limited when I tested it last year. When I said 'Mac-only' I meant Apple only, although I think I'd struggle to get things done using just an iOS device and the web app.

I've used almost all the to-do apps, and none compares with 2Do. Not sure why it isn't reviewed, but it's easy to use -- and still has far more features than any other, there when you need them. Anyone else use 2Do?

I use Apple Reminders for both Personal & Business. Share with team members and so much more. And the new iOS14/Big Sur feature that lets you assign tasks to people is a game changer. iCloud is how I choose to work with our team and use GSuite for email only. I really wish iCloud would launch a business side and compete with Microsoft 365 & GSuite.
Apple Reminders is the only choice if you are all in on the Apple Ecosystem. The sync is great. The subtasks work great. I used the old Reminders also and found a way to make it work for me and my team, but the new Reminders is so much better. No reason to ever pay for an app. Used Todoist in the past, new Reminders in my opinion is Apple taking some features from every premium app and wrapping it into one.
I do a lot of stuff in apple Notes and then just share it into Reminders which is great, just click the note icon it creates in Reminders and boom, you are in the Apple Note. The notes section in Reminders is where I use hashtags for quick searching.
Apple Reminders is more about making it work for you in your own creative way. And it works for me personally and my team.

I was going to try Things3, but it seems to me that they could view user content so I'm not willing to do that. Gonna try the built in Reminders app and see how that goes

Yep. Have had it for a LONG time. Used it first on my gen 2 iPod touch.

Speaking of list apps, I tried this little app called "ListOrganizer" on the App Store and I think it is pretty good.
It was just released this week so there's not a lot of talk about it or anything, but I think it is a decently made app for a first version of it compared to some other apps I have tried out.
I think anyone looking for an app to make lists with should definitely take ListOrganizer for a spin.
