I'm mostly discussing Sandforce controllers because of how you stated they are used in USB flash drives. Still one can't escape that modern USB flash drives are not an equivalent to a modern SSD. Maybe a 3+ year old SSD, but nothing modern. With modern being a Samsung 840 or a Crucial M4 or equivalent. The question wasn't answered by you alone. It was a group effort by myself, jbarley, Fishrrman, marzer, Weaselboy, iStiggy, and yourself.

Honestly just stop. The Crucial M4 uses a 4 year old controller... You keep digging yourself a deeper hole with no clear rational. Either you are intentional trying misinform people or you have no idea you are doing it.

What are you talking about? The M4 uses a controller 2 generations behind the current controller from the controller manufacturer.

You think the "Sandforce controllers are three years old" which again is an ignorant statement. Now you are claiming a 4 year old controller is better than one just releases a few months ago.

Please describe why you believe this in technical detail. Or you can point us to your "peer reviewed" paper on Sandforce.

How much more embarrassment can you take? It's ok to make mistakes. But don't compound them with more. Cut your losses and move on.
