would anyone be interested in a review by someone that is not an influencer (me) later today? I can compare it to the iPhone 16 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Fold 6.

My idea is to mirror the Home Screen layout first and then focus on hardware, photos (amateur) and what I potentially might be missing from One UI.

I could do a write down since I don't like my voice :D

edit: I am in love and I have not even turned it on yet! it feels so much lighter! the crease puts my Fold 6 to shame and it is actually flat on the surface unlike the Galaxy with the right hand side always being uneven

Genuinely excited for the Fold 7.

It probably won't be as much of a bleeding edge device as the chine foldable, but thats okay.

All I have wanted is a wider outer screen, and a better camera, thinner chassis would be nice too.

It looks like that is what we can expect so I am happy.

As much as I would love to have one of those Chinese phones, at the end of the day I wouldn't risk dealing with their software, and warranty on a fold.

Worth having a slightly bulkier device for peace of mind.

And finally Samsung has acknowledged the Fold in regards to One UI 7, beta starts tomorrow... not sure if I'd be able to participate since AT&T doesn't allow it. But at least we can get an idea of what to expect for the Galaxy Fold... I'm anxious to see what they do with the taskbar.

That's good news I guess I'll be checking in on the members app

Nothing yet on the members app if anyone sees anything please ping on here
Yeah, and I have to call it like I see it. Samsung lied, Korea normally gets the update first and it’s currently Friday over there… SamMobile reported that Samsung pushed out a March security update instead.

Samsung should have stated the beta would be released this month, not give a specific date. Because Korea didn’t get the beta update as originally planned.

It’s not a huge issue. The Fold 6 is currently running buttery smooth… I don’t have any concerns with it. I was just expecting it today, but I’m starting to think it’s not coming this week… maybe middle or late this month.

I’m totally OK with it too, phone has been running, smooth no complaints

Yeah, I'm not even concern about it anymore... @Bkdodger. The tablet experience has been leaked and there's no difference between it and the phone experience.

I'm not going to check the Members app, I'd just wait until someone post that it's available... because I was expecting this long wait for the tablet devices meant that there would be some optimization or something different about it. But it's more or less the same on the S series.

I'm especially curious to see what the Fold 7 will look like. However, I plan to keep my OnePlus Open for a while and then purchase the global version of the Oppo Find N5 from Wondamobile in the third or fourth quarter. The price is already dropping quite quickly—I expect it to be around €1,200–1,300 by then.

Yes indeed swipe up a little I'm loving it and the notification area looks cleaner
Samsung did it halfway though... they give us the new look task bar, but if we want to keep it present on the display, it reverts back to the old look smh.

Oh really ? I use it hidden but hopefully they update with enough feedback. I'm happy to see vertical app drawer Yes finally

I don't mind having it active on the display... helps to get in and out of apps much quicker. And I have a one page App Drawer, so I don't have no use for the vertical option.

And HomeUp hasn't been updated... there's not much changes when it comes for Good Lock for the Fold. I'm surprised Samsung didn't make any changes to Sound Assistant to have it look similar to the new One UI 7 volume rocker.

I feel like you lose out on real estate with it active, one page app drawer? Wow. I'm sure we're going to get some more updates especially Good Lock

Keeping the taskbar active on the display… slightly condense the content. You don’t lose out on anything. One thing I noticed though, I’m not on the latest version of Good Lock. Probably have to uninstall everything and install it back… to get the updated modules.

But yeah, I’m going to try and leave some suggestions… there’s quite a few changes that I hope Samsung makes.
