I'd like to see bond wearing the new apple watch in the new spectre film. Sounds like it's a good fit if it's a fashion item...

Sony pictures with an Apple product. Not a chance.;)

The question I had was about how sturdy this watch will be, I work as a maintenance man in a steel mill and have been through 4 watches in a few months and if it will hold up for a year or more it will be more than worth the price. the other features are a plus; I love apple products from the ipod through the iphone, and now apple watch when it is released

I hate to throw water on your expectations, but I doubt the Apple watch, even the sport version, is *that* sturdy. It's made from basically the same material as the iPhone, only smaller. I don't know what kinds of watches you were using, but if they didn't last long on your job, then I doubt Apple watch will last any longer. There's just no reason why the Apple watch will be more sturdy than the average comparably-priced watch.

The Apple Watch will be better than the Suunto watches, for the same price, but do way more.

Better for who? At notifications and 3rd party apps? Sure. At workout tracking, navigating wilderness, etc? I would take the Suunto all day long. Really, they are two different markets. I think the :apple:Watch and Android Wear watches will be more the geek/notifications/business/casual type crowd. Those looking for true multisport or fitness or tracking watches will be attracted to Garmin, Suunto, Polar, etc.

Is this a new feature? The watch will spontaneously combust after 12 months so that it can no longer be used??? The watch will function identically after 10 years as it does on day 1 (assuming no damage)...... Just because Apple may have released updated models does not force you to buy them or render the previous version useless. And the fact that the value will reduce because of new versions is irrelevant as no one should be buying a smart watch as an investment! Technology moves on and smart watches will be no different to anything else. I change my iPhone every year, but that is my choice. Likewise I change my TV every 3 or 4 years - not because there aren't newer and better models out with functionality I would love - but because I choose not to update so frequently.

10 years? Wrong. A battery as small as the one in the  Watch will be charged and discharged a lot more than a phone or tablet. I will be surprised if the battery is still good after 4 years of use. Personally, I will be surprised if any smartwatch (, Sony, etc) that need to be charged daily survive 3 years.

I'd like to see bond wearing the new apple watch in the new spectre film. Sounds like it's a good fit if it's a fashion item. Personally I'll buy the cheapest one cos I'm not rich and I'll almost certainly want the apple watch 2, might buy the mid range for v2. Bond wearing it is the most likely way to persuade me to upgrade to a steel one v2

Never happen. If it isn't European, he ain't gonna be wearing it. And the  Watch is way to feminine for Bond to be wearing anyway.

P.S. Bond has only ever worn Rolex and Omega watches. Classic swiss time-pieces.
