I am curious....

Many here hate Samsung and some say their phone displays arent that good and bash them every chance they get, so im curious .....most everyone has a flatscreen TV, how many here have a Samsung TV? Does your love of Apple and having Samsung as competition along with the hate i see keep you from buying their other products?

I have three big screens. Two are 46" LCD Samsungs and the other is a older Vizio 37" that is 1080i in one of the bedrooms.

So if you dont have a Samsung, what do you have?

What do Samsung TV's have to do with Samsung phones?

Just curious how far the Samsung hate goes. Does the love for Apple and hate for Sammy keep some away from Samsungs other products? Like i said, just curious.

No, what you are trying to do is build a case for a straw man argument.

There is no parallel between Samsung TV's and Samsung mobile. They have zero in common. There is no causation or correlation to be found with this line of thinking.

Contrary to what others presume to know what you are getting at, I think that's a good question. Whilst I personally have no opinion either way on Samsung products...I buy what suits me best at the time...I know a few of my friends and business acquaintances who out-right will not buy Samsung products purely based on one bad experience with a tv/phone etc.

On a side note, the arrogance on this forum exhibited by a few members never fails to astound me!!

Just wait till Apple brings out their....errr...I mean a re-badged Sharp, LG, Sammy, etc...TV. Then they hate for Samsung will go nuclear.
Personally I don't believe the BS people give when they say they look at Sammy's separate division with a different mindset. They hate Samsung through and through. It really is that simple.
BTW, the very fact many here will hate a company that supplies the most important parts of the iphone and ipad yet buy and drool over said idevices, just goes to show how incredibly conflicted these poor souls are.

LOL, no i am not.

Its a simple question with a simple premise. Either you understand the question or you dont. Trying to make an agenda out of it is just lame. Its a simple yes or no question really. I guess you go in the "hate Samsung" catagory.

You're the one with the agenda. I get the question and your premise for asking it... and, simply put, this is a troll thread.

I don't think anyone really hates Samsung. Some just prefer iPhone. I use a galaxy note, but couldn't care less who makes it, whether it be apple,HTC, or Samsung.
These arguments on this forum about bashing competitors to the iPhone are kind of stupid, just as is trashing the iPhone on an iPhone forum.
Although I currently use a Samsung phone, that doesn't mean that I won't go back to iPhone if the next generation I'd made with a much larger screen. Loyalty to a brand usually changes over time, as technology constantly evolves, and who's hot today may not make the best products tomorrow.
I use what works best for me...plain and simple.

Brand loyalty is silly, I just get what best suits my needs/budget at the time.

You could not have said it better.

The people who run this forum "Appear" to take an impartial stance; however, I feel you will find them very opinionated and subversive.

I had always believed that a message forum was designed for people to share thoughts, experiences, and opinions. I believe this forum is the propaganda arm of Samsung and AT&T.

Who " hates' a company anyways? Off all the brands i have disdain for Dell is probably near the top based on customer service experience and quality problems. Yet on my desk at work i have two high-res displays that are Dell and are quite nice. I bought them based on reviews and despite my opinion of the company from past interactions.

I just don't understand the hate thing.

Sammy makes some good stuff.

Well, since this is an Apple/iPhone/Mac forum, most people would like "Apple" branded stuff. Try recommending a Samsung or HTC phone when people ask what are other options, watch you will get down voted and people will always say iPhone is the best LOL... I personally don't care about the branding much, I just use whatever I feel like using and what fits my need. Phones: I went from Sony Ericsson -> Apple -> Nokia -> Samsung (still have SGSII i777 CM9 4.0.4) -> Samsung (still have SFS i937 WP7.5)-> Apple (iPhone 4). I just switch to whichever ecosystem I think fits the need for my daily task.

As for other products, I own 2 MacBook (Pro 2010 and Air 2011), 1 Asus laptop, 2 custom built Windows desktop. Monitors: Asus and LG. Only thing I really own that is Samsung are phones.

I like most brands, but as I said before, this is an Apple/iPhone/Mac forum so people favor Apple more than Samsung or other brands. I don't see anything wrong with Samsung phones. Different build material but still good looking devices.

I owned Samsung Focus and Samsung Focus Flash. Nice phones if lacking quality of Apple. But I also own Samsung's high end LED TV. And let me tell you it was very hard to make them honor warranty when my TV suddenly stopped working. And they tried a lot of tricks. In the end I have TV i paid $7K for being repaired on the floor in my living room. I doubt I will buy another Samsung TV.

Not too sure why either, but I guess it's because of device build quality and how long it takes for them to release an update.
