Hey there!

just bought the new macbook pro so I'm new to the IOS and its features!

I just wanted to know if the force touch feature is only usable in safari/chrome? because a lot of my studies are with microsoft office and it doesn't seem to work on that, or anywhere else other than the internet.

Am I doing something wrong or are other programs not compatible with it?

thanks in advance

Like with 3D Touch on iPhones, it's up to application developers to utilise Force Touch if they wish. Not many have.
You're not doing anything wrong.

You may find these two YouTube videos instructive on the different things Force Touch can be used for:

- macOS. 🙂
