My 0.02. He probably did a "exchange" and then shipped an empty box or maybe not even shipped it.

UPDATE: Got a call from Apple Executive Relations this afternoon. They were very appreciative, and are going to get back to me after they speak with their billing department. Once I hear back from them, I'll spill the beans. In the mean time, I'll be sending back the watch tomorrow.

I think they will be speaking with their security department and not billing since you thought up a way to steal from them, and then did it. Best of luck!

They have your bank info on file, if nothing was received by a certain time, I'm sure the Terms say they charge you for both and you pre authorize that when purchasing or exchanging

Oh, I know this. If the OP is referring to this method as his way of "getting a free watch", not sure if he does.

Have to wait and see :)

In an earlier thread you said you actually ordered two:

I ordered two watches and have only been charged for one. I live out in Arizona, but am most likely moving to Nashville in a couple weeks, so I figured I'd chime in

So what was the trick... Some good old fashioned credit card fraud?

I couldn't resist.

I've found a loophole that allows someone to get a free Apple Watch directly from Apple. I have emailed Tim Cook's email address, but haven't gotten a response yet. Is there another channel I can go through? Before anyone asks, I will not publicly discuss the specifics of the loophole. But I can assure you, it works, and I have another Apple Watch in hand that didn't cost me anything.

The ups issue not true. The CL is dying. If it's the TC or CC issue, that's patched as of now.

Total clickbait thread scam. All the classic signs: bold claim, lack of specific details, offers something that compels the reader to dig deeper.

1) doesn't mention which watch models he ordered.

2) ordered a 2nd watch after receiving his first, then got 2nd via loophole. Really??? You ordered and received a second watch already, 2 weeks from launch day?

2a) Que "it was this xxxx version that was available for immediate shipping reply" in 3... 2... 1...

3) I can't tell you about it, but trust me, it's real! Oh, right....

4) Apple "Executive relations" has called me back. Uh huh. Sure.

5) no pics to support claim of 2 watches received.

I call BS on the whole claim.

I ordered and fully paid for 1 watch. After getting it, I noticed the possibility to get another at no charge. I wasn't sure if it would actually work, so I gave it a shot. It worked, and now that I have proof of concept, I want Apple to be aware of the issue. I will also be returning the second watch.

Your hidden intentions are that Apple lets you keep the watch and you get some comp for it...

Regardless, you didn't need to make this thread. You know VERY well how to get in touch with Apple exec team. Considering they are all on Twitter as well.

Call and demand an executive and explain the situation. I promise that you will get to Tims assistant if you do just that. Dont take no for an answer and demand.

But just to make sure you aren't lying, send me the info how you did it. Ill verify your story, i swear.

Total clickbait and BS thread, but I'm replying anyways.

I would laugh my a$$ off when the police show up to his door and arrest him for credit card fraud and theft. :D

If it involves cutting somones hand off and dumping the rest in a river, it does work guys. But not as well when it floats, that got quite awkward when the police showed up.

I know you're not going to tell us how to do it, but can you at least tell us if it was a Leather or Milanese Loophole.
