I got the nexus one when it first came out but when I go it in the mail and start using it wasn't that good compared to my new 3gs I bought since I didn't like nexus one and I love my new 3gs a lot more apple apps are way much better than android , and the music player is just I don't even know if it is a music player lol the screen is only good if your blind iphone screen is a lot more responsive. But all of this is just my opinion

When I saw that the Nexus was available for AT&T's 3G I almost bought one and I still might. The problem is apps. Namely, being a baseball fan, I use MLB At Bat a lot and for those blacked out games, I use Slingplayer to watch the local games off my cable box. Slingplayer doesn't exist at all for the Nexus and while MLB At Bat exists, it's multimedia support ends with audio while the iPhone version will eventually show live game video as well as it's current audio support. If it's anything like last year, it will be excellent. I also run an Orb server at home but my understanding is that OrbLive for Android sucks and I have two Slingboxes, one Orb server. Combine that with a $45 restocking fee if I want to return the phone, which is likely, and it's pretty tough to come up with a good reason to buy one. I'd say that maybe in a year I'd check again but the new Windows phones will be available before that and I expect them to be a magnitude better than current Android and Apple phones.

I also bought the Nexus One and loved it at the begin but I now find myself saying I wish I could still use my iPhone 3Gs (I am waiting for an unlock for the 3.1.3) So as soon as I can unlock my iPhone the Nexus One will be back in the drawer and I will use my iPhone again.

You should just buy my iphone 3gs 32gb that is unlocked with 3.1.2 :) then sell yours.

Yeah, seriously fanboy, how do you know the ATT version has those problems or they haven't tweaked manufacturing? Also, the iphone has problems too, think about the YELLOW HUE screens on the 32gb white models that Apple says is "within specifications" or cracking cases that are "within specifications"....yellowing cases....etc.....

Dude, just go to the nexus one support forums - they are full of AT&T customers having the same issues. Yes, google is going about this THAT poorly. We are all frustrated that such a potentially incredible phone is sucking soo badly. If you could put an iPhones touch screen on the nexus one, you would have the best phone out there.

For now, I'm sticking to my iPhone that really feels "simple" in comparison. Simple yet reliable.

Actually I wish people like him had alerted me to the issues with the nexus one before I bought it. Do you have such low self esteem that you need to insult people for posting relevant info in a public message board?

I also had the iPhone since day one (and its 3 iterations) but recently made the switch.
iPhone is a great device, but honestly the Nexus One really raised the bar.
If you're going to switch to android I recommend the N1 over any other android device. I've heard the droid is very good but it's CDMA so I didn't even entertain it. Avoid the backflip 'cause you'll go running back to the iPhone instantly.

While Android is definitely lacking in the app department, I've found suitable replacements in the Android Market for the apps that I used on my iPhone.

Obviously I'll be paying attention to what Apple releases this summer, but if it's nothing amazing, I'm sticking with the nexus one. It's definitely at least par with the iPhone (if not better).

I have yet to be able to play with a Nexus One in person. The sharpness of the screen looks pretty amazing. However, the easily breakable screen is a huge turn off. Hopefully all the issues can be ironed out in version 2?
