Is anyone getting the full charge notifications since upgrading to WatchOS 11? By which I mean, the notification on your phone when your watch has reached a full charge.

It worked fine when I was on iOS 18 public beta with WatchOS 10, but since upgrading both to the final versions (and doing a full reset on both device, too), I no longer get the full charge notification.

I'm pretty sure I have all the settings correct - Sleep app on the watch has the "charging reminders" setting enabled; notifications on my phone are enabled for both the Health and Watch apps.

Are other people seeing these notifications? Or are they just gone in WatchOS 11?

It seems inconsistent for me. I got a “fully charged” notification yesterday morning, but not today. Same watch, same watchOS and iOS in both cases.

It’s the first time I hear about this feature !! I have never ever seen that notification I don’t use my watch for sleep , maybe that’s why?

To add some details...

My devices are a 14 Pro and Series 7.

Charging notifications worked fine when I was on iOS 18 Public Beta and WatchOS 10.

When the updates OSes were finally released I:
  1. Updated the watch to WatchOS 10.
  2. Did a full reset/erase of the watch.
  3. Did a clean install of iOS 18 from the ipsw, setting up as a new device and not restoring from anything.
  4. Re-paired the watch.
After posting this post originally, I've also tried:
  1. Doing another full reset/erase of the watch.
  2. Deleting the Watch app from my phone.
  3. Rebooting my phone.
  4. Re-pairing the watch.
Still, none of this has fixed it so I get the full charge notifications.

I was not getting them myself but I went in settings and turned it off and on, now I am getting them again.

Settings -> Sleep -> Charging Reminders

Curiously, I do get charging reminders at night, the ones telling me "you need to charge your watch so it doesn't die overnight". But I still don't get full charge notifications.

This feature requires Apple Watch wearers to wear their watch to sleep every night, and you need to turn on tracking on the Sleep app on. It is a useful feature not just to remind you to put your Watch on once it is fully charged before bed, but can also prevent overcharging your watch.

I get notifications on charging my Apple Watch all the way to full since I had my watch regardless if it’s a beta or not, with respect to updating my iPhone to the latest version. I have A gold stainless steel Apple Watch Series 6 on 11.1 beta 2 and iPhone XR on iOS 18.1 beta 5.

This isn't working for me either on my 16 Pro and Series 10.
I did downgrade my iPhone to beta 4 iOS 18.1 and kept my watch on 11.1 beta 2, still have yet to update to beta 3 on the watch. Had to downgrade via ipsw on my iPhone as
it keeps acting up on Fitness+ and the workouts would end automatically at the end if I do the long half-hour to 45 minute ones. I still get these notifications. I only not get them if my watch is charging away from range of my iPhone (disconnected)
