Does this mean we will no longer have Black Bars, Letterbox when connecting the iPad to an external monitor for all APPS ? Has the Black Stigma of the iPad having Black Bars gone already ?? is it a thing of the past now ?
I have the 2018 iPad Pro 😭😭😭As long as you have an M1 iPad...
Do you have Stage Manager enabled? It's not working for my M1 iPad Pro...When I plug it in it just mirrors and has the black bars to the side...
IPadOS 16 isn’t out yetIt's not working for my M1 iPad Pro...When I plug it in it just mirrors and has the black bars to the side...
IPadOS 16 isn’t out yet
So now does it mirror when pluggedd to a monitor or you can turn off the screen of your iPad and just use the monitor? won’t mirror iPad as I did see in keynote that creg used iPad.
So can you use the webcam on the Studio Display instead of the one on the iPad? (Although the camera quality on the iPad may be better than the one on the display, the latter is better positioned so that you can look into the camera without looking down.)All working as intended for me, I’m running the Dev Beta now on my M1 iPP, connected to an Apple Studio Display, using Stage manager, no black bars, all working extremely well.
It will mirror. It’s under display settings.I won’t mirror iPad as I did see in keynote that creg used iPad.
I don’t know about claimshell mode
I’m not sure I understand your question correctly. But when you plug in a monitor, the iPad doesn’t change at all. And my monitor fills with my iPad wallpaper with no icons at all (Cuz you couldn’t place any icons there). To people who are now already using iPad OS 16 developer beta
Does the iPad the moment you connect to an external display show like a full screen on an external monitor like starting even the Home Screen ( Dock Area) or does it show full screen only in specific APPS ?
Does it work well even with other all third Party Brands like Dell, LG Monitors etc ?
Dose this mean that it works with HDMI and not just USBC monitors? Dose it also work with hubs/docks?I’m not sure I understand your question correctly. I’m using a generic 24” Element 1080p monitor, not an Apple monitor.
Yeah, I’ve been using an HDMI monitor. My Kensington StudioDock has an HDMI port but I‘m guessing you could probably just use an HDMI to USB-C adapter.Dose this mean that it works with HDMI and not just USBC monitors? Dose it also work with hubs/docks?
