I tried pubg and one another game, but no support yet, if you launch it on studio monitor it has bad orientation on display. How are full screen games behaving on an external display? If they scale to 16:9, might be worth upgrading my 2019 iPad Pro this year.
Thanks, hopefully they sort it and don't leave it up to devs, since a lot of these games already support arbitrary resolutionsI tried pubg and one another game, but no support yet, if you launch it on studio monitor it has bad orientation on display.
Would also really like to know this, especially on a studio displaySo can you use the webcam on the Studio Display instead of the one on the iPad? (Although the camera quality on the iPad may be better than the one on the display, the latter is better positioned so that you can look into the camera without looking down.)
Yeah, I’ve been using an HDMI monitor. My Kensington StudioDock has an HDMI port but I‘m guessing you could probably just use an HDMI to USB-C adapter.
I hope you're right about it being a matter of time -- but it would be a significant move, since iPads have never hitherto been able to work with any sort of external camera. When i run facetime app on studio display, there is black background, it doenst run the camera on studio display, but personally i think its matter of time
I plugged my M1 iPad Air with iPadOS 16 dev beta into my Studio Display, but I'm only getting screen mirroring. Unclear what I need to add, adjust, tweak or update. Any help is appreciated.
Everything Ive seen online indicates it wants the iPad to connect via a wireless mouse and or keyboard for it to go into/present stage manager and proper external display extending of the home screen/desktop And not just mirror. It is also beta though so you and everyone using it please report bugs or concerns on the functionality via the feedback app to help make it as functional as possible come fall release.I plugged my M1 iPad Air with iPadOS 16 dev beta into my Studio Display, but I'm only getting screen mirroring.
