New mac user here, I'm a pc technician and love my new mac... Still getting used to it... got the black macbook with 1 gb (2x512mb) but i still wanted more... so i started my research...
Crucial is a great brand i've used it many many times for me and my clients, great memory, i was literally one click away from buying the 2 gb from crucial.com... but stopped and went to newegg (where i'm a regular) at the last minute... i found out about gskill and started researching *ahem* googling about it... i found this thread, and started debating in my head wether i should give gskill a shot or not after the fairy/horror stories i had read... *sigh* soo, i gave it a shot, bought the gskills.
I got it today and have to say that it was 100% painless to install, i had read about how ppl were appliying brute force in order to click? frightening...
So... Did Apple fix the macbooks(i got it last week) or did gskills fixed their memory size....
Gskill two thumbs up.
