I decided to make a separate thread on games we would like for the iPhone/iPod Touch.

I, for one, would love to see a Geometry Wars (AKA Grid Wars) on the iPhone.
I think it would work perfectly for the iPhone. I would gladly pay $10 dollars for it.

Are there any games you wish would come out on the iPhone?

I want a fulll cod 4, i want it with hte same graphics not some bs toned down graphics! I''m sure iPhone can handle that. and i want the online play with perks and all!

For some reason in all the 3D applications I have, there is no anti-alias, which leads me to believe that it's not supported.

So there would be toned down graphics.

I'd like RTCW - the one after that! But maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. Any FPS would be great (but I'd prefer Spear of Destiny if it was a Wolfenstein one)

Any C&C game would be awesome with the touch screen! In fact that's made me think of Syndicate Wars - anybody remember that game?

anything from the Id library. apparently we're getting something from them according to TouchArcade.com, but ya...bring it soooooner than later!

Some old Amiga game like pinball, except instead of flippers you fired small BBs at the ball to keep it out of the drain
Some sort of dungeon crawler (like the old Wizardry games)
DOOM (nothing in modern gameplay compares to walking it to a room filled with dozens of imps, and taking them out three and four at a time with the shotgun)

Hexic HD please. It would be perect for the iPhone...I would buy in a heartbeat.

Plus it definately couldn't handle bump mapping; the texture resolution; the number of polygons, etc.

I don't even think an FPS is a good idea for this platform. I saw Quake 3 running on it and it looked extremely cumbersome.

For me, Worms and Civilization.

I'd also like to see some kind of flight game. I'm not sure how it would work, certainly it couldn't be too complex or in any way realistic.

And LucasArts style SCUMM adventure games I think would work great.
