I just bought a Macbook yesterday, coming from a 1.83 MBP and I also just got done playing The Sims 2. Worked fine for me. And I still have 1 gig of ram, my 2 gigs is on the way.

Well, I plan on having 2 gigs of RAM, so that won't be a problem. I'll probably just use my Windows copy that I already have (but can't play, go figure.) on a windows partition on my macbook. I was wondering if it might be convenient (a $40 convenience, seems kind of stupid when I'm thinking about it non-arbitrarily ) to get the mac version just to play it without having to reboot and switch OSes. Not that playing it on a windows partition will yield exceptionally better results or anything, but, I'll probably just do that if I feel the need to play
