No, it doesn’t. I have AT&T and numbersync only shows one number irrespective of the phone being in range.

I haven't tried it with calls, but for texting mine did NOT use the phone's number, it used the phantom number, when I sent a text. I'm also on AT&T and have numbersync on.

Ok that makes great sense there! So is the numbersync that’s controlling the display of the number.
Only thing I would question is if you are not in range of the device and call from the watch will it display the actual watch number or number sync from the phones actual number.

It’s a cool idea and all but only doing exercise or some sort of activity would you not have your phone but your watch instead and I can’t think of too many senarios.

Yes that’s what I figured. Only difference could be in calling.

I already stated this doesn’t happen and I own the S3 with an S8+.

You can stop being concerned.

There’s only one number visible.

Just out of curiosity.
I’d probably care less as I’m thinking of going Bluetooth only no sense in me having it connected to LTE unless there’s some obvious reason why I would it to be that way...

It’s a great plan B to have LTE on both, but you are can probably save yourself a few bucks with the Bluetooth version only.

I have to admit though, you get accustomed to living without your phone pretty quick.

And it has come in handy many times.

Yeah man! Now comes the test of do I go Note 8 or S8+!
That’s the benefit of the watch though is not having to have the phone close by your person!

You got Spotify to stream over LTE? I tried it and the watch immediately goes into overheat mode... like immediately. Googled and saw other people had the same issue. I assumed it was a bug in the app.

Not sure if this was a fluke, or something was fixed. I've tried streaming Spotify over LTE since then and it worked fine. Last night in the gym, I got bored with my downloaded playlists, and went to browse, tried several different choices of recommended playlists and genres and they all worked fine.

I am still loving the experience with the Gear 3. What I have found is that sometimes it doesn't reconnect to my Note 8 for some reason so the battery runs down more quickly being in standalone mode with LTE. I need to play with this a little more to see if I'm doing something to cause it not to reconnect when I go to the gym, etc..
