Have you by any chance seem them sell those on eBay for 38mm? 'cause when I search I only get knockoffs if any at all.
I just got mine. I was a little worried when I saw that it was shipping from a different state than it said online, but it turned out to be the real thing-- a brand new Apple link band, sealed in the original packaging! He's got at least 4 more on eBay right now.

Just out of curiosity where did yours ship from? The auction I purchased mine from said the item location was Beverly Hills, CA.

Yes, mine came from there too. When I saw that I got a little worried since it didn't match the listing, but the band is genuine (down to the etching on the inside of the clasp). Still, it does make one wonder exactly what's going on.
Yeah that was my feedback. He said he had a death in the family, which I want to believe. I have heard that from several eBay sellers in the past so you never know. I would say if he doesn't ship soon, send him several messages until you get a good answer. It wasn't until my third message that he replied saying he hasn't been able to respond due to the death. So have no fear, you will get a genuine product, but communication is mediocre at best.
I didn't hear anything right away but he responded quickly when I emailed him a week later. The death in the family excuse seemed a little dramatic, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and the strap arrived quickly after my email was sent. Getting a genuine link band for that price was worth the slight wait.
I ordered on 1/26 as well, still no word. I sent one message Monday I'll probably try again this morning. Others have said this seller is slow to respond and ship so I'm not quite giving up yet.
