Engadget writes its headlines in a weird way using a comma when they mean "and", or a semicolon, or a full stop and a new sentence. It's starting to tick me off.

Here are some recent examples:

Palm Treo 650 boots into Android, lives a fulfilling life (video).

Kivu's G-Five KTNO2 netbook sports ridiculous 'aerodynamic' design, could be the wind beneath your wings.

Sony's VAIO Bluetooth Laser Mouse pictured in the wild, almost as ugly as last week's OpenOfficeMouse.

I really don't like Engadget, especially the comments section. I don't even read them at all anymore because every time, it's just a bunch of useless nonsense instead of actual discussion.

Say what you want about Gawker, but I love Gizmodo and their comment system. Every time I look at a post, there are a lot of really good, productive and helpful comments that I make a point of reading. On Engadget, I can go through pages and pages of comments without reading one halfway-decent one.

Engadget is ok, I do not like gizmodo (forgot how to spell it lol) it is a little too pro apple for me, but then again I am a windows fan. For example take gizmondo's review of the Zune HD they only spoke about it's lack of apps and web which the iPod touch has, completely forgetting to mention audio and video quality is its main function. Just going to drop this in I think it is unfair to compare the zunehd's and iPod touchs browser as the ipod touchs uses a browser which was designed for a cell phone where it is much more of a key function as wireless is everywhere than a only as wireless is limited (same thing for apps) and audio and video is more important. Also gizmodos commenters are extremely hostial towards windows user and those who like it:(

I only visit them when they have the live feed going. Other then that I stay away for the most part.

I don't like Engadget. I like Lifehacker the best because they don't overload on the same topic over and over again. I also like Gizmodo.

I always thought that was standard practice for article titles.

Envy and frustration is a hard road. Apple is the only one in the industry doing anything remotely interesting or inspiring. You'd think the Apple coverage would only increase on even general tech sites and folks would welcome it.
