My replacement for the first-gen iPod Nano arrived today....it's cute but frankly, I am glad that I didn't ever buy one! I'm happy enough with it as a substitute for the first-gen Nano which was only 4 GB and which had been living in a drawer for some time now, but....really, while it's cute and while it has a little more capacity than my previous one, I don't think it's all that satisfactory overall. I'll primarily be using it as a "watch," anyway, so I probably shouldn't be fussing about it..... For listening to music I have my old 5G iPod that I can use in the car and at home I often just listen to music right from iTunes while the computer is on. I am not someone who goes walking around with the iPod connected to me and listening to music whereverI am, so it's all kind of moot. I was just kind of surprised, though, at this device being somewhat less than I was expecting....
