Oh no it would not. I am serious about a rollback for everyone that has been registered for 6 months or less to "newbie" status and throw them into the "babble" thread.

That way they can get all of the redundant postings in one place and you can all read about the same 'ole "Getting my new MacBook today!!!" stuff.

iTeen, your demoted.

that would be stupid...i am already a regular

I am sorry for being excited about buying my first owned laptop and spending nearly $600 more on extras...

lol...I don't think you have anything to be sorry about. We were all excited when we first got our Macs. But the idea of have a separate forum for new purchases (or maybe a sticky) would be an interesting idea. Mods?

Wow, that is sure a lot of stuff to get at once...I'm a bit jealous;)
anyway enjoy your purchase...
and nice gallery btw.
Is .mac that easy to use or are you a web expert?

It is just that easy to use, and by the way, that post was sarcasm.

This guy sounds like APPLEFAN8's twin brother of a different Mother.

I think a new policy needs to be implemented, all "newbies" retain for 6 months the "newbie" moniker and are kept in the same "newbie" thread where they can get everything out of their system and then after 6 months they are promoted to the general forums.

And yes, I was a "newbie" once as well and understand how exciting it can be, all the way back to my Apple II+ and my first Macintosh 128K in 1984 with the wide carriage ImageWriter.

damn i hope you're joking

moving along now... to the OP... enjoy your new mac!
