For those of you that have wives, gfs, sisters, etc. with iPhones, do they actively update and sync it themselves? My wife and I both have them, but she never goes on iTunes to search for new apps or even bothers/knows how to sync her iPhone. I'm sure she could if she really wanted to, but just doesn't really feel the desire to do it herself. I'm usually the one who is always is searching for new apps and making sure her existing apps are up to date. As for music, she usually tells me what she wants and I put it on.

As for her general computer knowledge, she loves and uses our PowerBook on a regular basis. I just think she wants a phone that she can grab and use and not be bothered with it's other functions/maintenance.

My sister in law just got one yesterday. :D My whole family has them now except my father in law, and he is my next target and should fall very easy since he is the soul remaining family member on that verizon bastard's network.

My fiance made fun of me for waiting in line July 11th to get one, but not even a month later she wanted one. Now she can't live without it.

my wife has one (and loves it). I really wonder though, why hasn't Apple released a pink version of the phone? The pink Razor seemed to be really popular...I don't know why Apple wouldn't try to target women more.

Soo, you're saying that women would only be interested in such an awesome phone because of its pretty pink color? Come on!

I have one.

Why wouldn't women have iPhones? Technology is not just a boys domain.

Thank you, exactly. :)

i see more wemen spending 300 dlls on some Gucci sun glasses or Manolo shoes or maybe Chanels perfume but no on apple, that is relatively strange on a girl, sorry but thats how it goes!

I actually know more women than men who own iPhones, by far, and it's ridiculous to generalize all women into the relatively small subgroup that chooses to spend all their money on such frivolous, beauty- based items. Grouping *all* women in this way is like saying that *all* men don't care about those things whatsoever, or that *all* men are less advanced than women in the areas of spelling and grammar. :p

In any event, I'm a woman and I plan on getting an iPhone as soon as my Verizon contract dies. That's the only reason why I've waited so long.

Lesson of the day: stereotypes can be pretty bad, and are, more often than not, incorrect. :D

OT: does anybody have a link to the thread where there are many pictures of celebrities who own iPhones. Thanks.
