There is nothing like Developer Beta GM. GM is the Golden Master and everyone can download and install it without the Beta profile.

Right, I understand that. But if my memory serves me right, I recall installing the GM prior to the official reveal in the past. I could be wrong though

Is it the same as beta 10? Build numbers are very similar
No they are not same. Even a single character change means its a different build and not the same. Features wise, nobody knows what has changed. I mean we will have to wait for those who got it to install before apple stopped signing it.
[doublepost=1504945459][/doublepost]Thats correct. But more relevant to the OTA Updates that apple pushes to the devices directly. So they push it first to Developer community and followed by Public Beta community.

However, if you get the IPSW file then you can install it without any beta profile because apple would be signing it already for all devices.

I have it installed on my 7 Plus and so far there are no visible changes but under the hood they probably changed a few things considering that the Kernel date changed.

The OS definitely feels smoother though. It might be because the beta 'gunk' has been removed.
[doublepost=1504946183][/doublepost]Also boot up time from a completely powered off state is at least 2 times worse than 10.3.3, which booted up in ~15s. About on par with iOS 11 beta 10.

Just talked to someone close to Tim himself. He isn’t happy. His exact quote was heads will roll over this. And anyone caught using the GM before Tuesday will be relegated to using a Samsung for the rest of their miserable life. So there you have it folks. Unless you want to be stuck using a Samsung device for the rest of your life. You’ll wait till Tuesday.

someone is clueless on how apple signing works & how its about impossible to shove a virus or something into an ipsw and think itunes will just throw it on ur device..
Did I even talk about Virus? Read my post again.

u dont get it? read my post again, u are clueless about apple's protection & obviously think its "tampered with"
Apple’s protection is moot if they decide to ban all the Apple IDs logged into this GM. I hope you have understood that I am not even talking about viruses, security or ipsw tampering. I just don’t want my Apple ID to be banned just like Microsoft bans Xbox live ID if they detect unauthorised activity.. Hence I am not taking the risk.

Get it?

I have the GM installed. Can someone else confirm if something like this happen? Should I downgrade back?

99% it will not happen. But there is still a tiny possibility. After being banned on XBox live and loosing all my purchases threre, I wont take a risk here. I have invested too much into Apps and games on my Apple ID. Don’t want it banned if Tim Cook goes bat-s**t crazy over this leak.

Would be a bit unreasonable for Apple to punish users for downloading a leaked OS that is going to be released in the next week IMO.

But Tim is probably at his calculator now figuring out a payment plan for users to unlock their Apple ID's. :D

Worryingly, the Calculator lag that has plagued the betas could lead to a rather astronomical sum for some people ;)

Remember it is a .0 release y’all, there are always minor issues still to be resolved in future updates.
