I was going to post about this. I'm not getting emails pushed to my iPhone 6s.

I have 3 other devices a Kindle HDX,iPad Air and a ipod touch all 3 are getting pushed emails. The ipod touch and the iPad and the iPhone already have the same mail setting and I'm using the stock mail app.

Update for me. I gave up on gmail into iOS. I transferred all my info to the cloud, deleted all my Google apps and forward my gmail to the iCloud account. Now they show up instantly.

Can you expand on this? How is the Mail app involved in that command?

The stock mail app is needed for certain Siri actions. You can be viewing and email and tell Siri to "remind me about this" and it will remind you about that email.

The stock mail app is also tied into the identifying incoming unknown call feature scanning the stock mail app if that number has ever been in your email.

It wont work with a 3rd patty mail app.

Gotcha. I had no idea. Thanks.
