Thanks! I really love all these pastelle kind of colors with the gold case, like the fog, walnut or stone sports bands. I'm not so sure about the nylon band though, none of the colors really seems to look as great as the rose gold/blue combination.

Unlike the silver or the gray, the two gold types don't really go with all colors. I'm thinking of slimming down the rotation myself.

You're probably right, they're not as versatile but if they match a band they really shine and look beautiful. For example all these light pastelle colors I was talking about (fog, antique white, stone, turquoise): With the silver case they look really plain and boring imo but with the gold tones they look really beautiful and complement the case.

I bought the gold sport with the gold/blue nylon band combo. It's quite sharp IMHO. I wear it on casual days with jeans and a sport coat, and I think it looks great.

I wear my stainless with either the stainless link or Milanese bands with suits. Stainless with a leather classic buckle (black, saddle or mightnight blue) with just a dress shirt + slacks.

Can I see some pics of your gold with the nylon back when you can? I have my eye on that one as well.

Thanks, I was thinking of the scuba one. Forgot about that color scheme.
Ah. I bought the retail combo, which for 42mm I think is only this one (or the midnight blue sport band). This band when included with the gold sport has a brushed gold colored buckle and clasp.

I agree. I'm thinking of cutting the sport bands down to these colors and then picking up the lilac. Gifting or selling the others. The neon like colors looked great with the space gray but not so much with gold.

I think I got my favorite band yet. HOCO Brown Leather Band. I suppose it is a mimic of the Apple Classic Buckle Saddle Brown band.

I've been wearing it for only a few days so it is hard to say how it will hold up, but right now it looks great! It's a creamy smooth looking leather and doesn't feel that cheap, although I don't have experience wearing real leather. It looks 1000x better than the leather in the fake Leather Loop I previously posted, which looks like shiny plastic.

I'm also wearing it with the Gold Sport. I was really worried about the clash of the silver lugs. However, in person, the clash doesn't look bad at all. The Gold Sport Watch already has a hint of silver in its color anyway, and in real life, you aren't holding the Watch up to your face to study it like you do in a still photo.

I've only had an AW for a little over a week now but I went for the Gold Sport 42mm with the midnight blue sport band. I think it looks great and I've only added this leather strap to it in the past few days. It's the vintage leather Jisoncase band from Amazon for £15.99 so was a great price and I think it looks nice. My only gripe is that the strap connectors are silver and I can only cinch it to the 2nd or 3rd holes at best (I'm a big guy) and the bands to hold the strap don't stay very well with that little of the strap past the buckle.

Also, after seeing the pics I think I want that black Milanese loop for it too now... And maybe the matching gold :)

So is there nowhere to get a decent leather band with a gold clasp/buckle? I figured there'd be knock offs of the Edition bands but I can't find anything

Has anyone got a dark gold/bronze Milanese strap? Not sure if the gold will look too 'in your face'.

Edit: Went ahead and bought a 'Vintage Gold' Milanese strap from eBay!

I got one from eBay to I love it just elegant enough, not too flashy

Bands I have for my 42mm Gold Sport...

Apple Sport Bands:
Midnight Blue (came with watch)
Black
Stone
Fog
Walnut (should be called "nude")
Blue

Apple Nylon:
Gold/Blue
Pearl

Third-Party:
Shiny Gold Milanese
Flat Gold Milanese
Gold/Silver steel clasp bracelet (heavy and blingy!)

Tough to say what my favorites are. Black Sport is pretty common for me. I also like Stone. I am disappointed in Walnut. Don't like it as much as I hoped.

My newest are the gold/steel bracelet and the flat gold milanese (which I'm currently wearing). The clasp bracelet is definitely the 'classiest' band I own.

To go with that, I also have my Pebble collection: Pebble Steel, Pebble Time black, Pebble Round Silver with silver clasp band. Pebble Time 2 is on Kickstarter order. The Pebbles have the wonderful feature that I can make my own watch face for it that looks exactly how I like. Can't do that with the Apple Watch unfortunately. The Pebble Round is by far the lightest smart watch I own. Elegant looking, too.

I've got the Brown Vintage Leather Bands from Clockwork Synergy with the black adaptors because I though they would go well with the black display of the watch, so far I'm very pleased with the band.

When the Apple Watch came out, I didn't want one because they seemed too expensive and I wasn't sure why I needed it. When series 2 came out, I started looking. I saw the gold sport and it really caught my eye. It was the only AW I'd buy. And, I bought it. It came with the black sport band, which I like, but I wanted to try a gold and a black Milanese. I now have one black Milanese that holds extremely well, except when I wear it to bed. Otherwise, no problems with the band like the first gold Milanese I bought. I bought a black Milanese just to see if it was better. I'm sticking with the second gold Milanese due to it not loosening when I'm working. I love the gold sport band. I'm glad I bought this watch.
