And I'm still waiting on them assessing my Pixel 5 trade in that they received Tuesday. 😅😅 I know it's not Google doing it, but still!

Very impressed with Google return process.
Returned my 9 Pro XL on Saturday at a local drop off point. It was scanned and off it went.
Full refund received today money back in account.
That's pretty good considering the device was being sent to Poland! Randomly. .
I've had a good experience with them as well, as a follow-up to my Google order from the release date was lost by UPS, they sent RMA replacement which I didn't want since I bought the phone from BestBuy. They issued a return to sender on the first order which showed up finally at a UPS facility and shipped back to Google. My RMA they sent me a return label and took back the device and I expect a refund in the account soon.

I was very impressed by how fast they were when I returned the Bellroy case. As soon as I had dropped it off (before it was even sent to them) I got an email saying they had refunded me. The next day the money was back on my account.

I've had a similar experience many times with Amazon. It is only when the item has a high price tag that they wait to receive and verify it before I get a refund.

I got my assessment within 24 hrs of them receiving my phone but I sent in my 7 Pro as soon as I got my trade in kit. They probably weren't as overloaded as they are right about now when they get flooded with trade in requests.

I got my confirmation 4 minutes after I posted. 😂👍🏻

Those of you who have the Pixel 9, Pro 9, XL and the new Fold, can you update on the battery life please. I'm thinking it would be interesting to see how much difference there is compared to last years phones. Also I'd like to see how much of a difference there is in batter life on the new Fold vs the XL (obviously it will drain more when the big screen is being used).

I guesstimate 1.5 to 2 hours more sot. From 5 to 6.5\7. from p8p. On par with the s24u i used to have.

If they are on par with the S24 Ultra or the iPhone 15 Pro Max, then that would be impressive. When I tried the 8 Pro last year, the battery didnt even last me a day, heck it didnt even last most the day.

I think battery life is about the same as the 15 PM. I usually end the day with 40% battery left with over 5 hours SOT and lots of music streaming over bluetooth. It's a huge improvement over the 8 Pro that barely lasted a full day.
I have the XL.

It's been really good on the 9PXL in my opinion. Never got this kind of battery life on my previous Pixels. It's definitely up there with the S24U and 15PM. This is all day in a below average reception area with no wifi at all. All data has been over the T-Mobile network.

Any UK peeps here who ordered from the official Google Store? Been reading some stories about DPD drivers stealing the phone and saying it's delivered while Google couldn't care less. Also the packaging reveals the contents of the box and it's easily taken out. This has got me a bit worried.

However, I've also read that sometimes the DPD driver requires a PIN from the recipient - has this been the case for you?

No issues

Never heard that from DPD. Always been by far the best out there

Yeah, I also had a good experience with Google. I returned my P9 Pro XL yesterday. It was returned overnight to Google. They received it today and I got my refund and I now have $540 in store credit from my trade in. However I did lose my promotional $200 store credit. So I have $540 waiting for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, next year.

That's not bad you're lock loaded.

I'm having the same BlueTooth issues I've had with Pixel 8 and other Androids, only Samsung has its proprietary sound assistant app that solves the issue. When connected to BT earbuds and a call ends, the "end call" sound plays through the phone speaker despite being connected to earbuds. I've tried every sound setting, silent mode, volume sliders all at lowest, reset BT settings. The sound still plays.

This also happened on my S24+ until I installed sound assistant. With that app you can route all audio through BT and it sticks.

Can someone who is running Android 15 beta say whether this is resolved by the per app sound setting that should be there now? Anyone else experiencing this who has a fix, I'd love to hear it.

Via EE here with DPD as the courier and I had a pin they needed before they could hand the package over

Same when I bought my S24U directly from Samsung last month

Faultless on both occasions and times before that too

Normal usage inc a full set up from a 4th (on charge initially during the set up)

100% down to 17% last night. Charged overnight on my magsafe stand

It'll get better the more I use it and it learns the charging etc

My Pixel 9 came with DPD and no issues. I always have the same DPD guy and I'm quite friendly with him.

Got my full trade in value of $699 for my 8 Pro less than 24 hours after they received it. Always worry a bit about this!
I was the same when I sent in my 7 Pro and it had a tiny scratch on the upper left of the screen. I still got full trade in value. In fact I have always gotten the full quoted trade in price from Google the last couple of years.

Based on my experience, if you state the phone is in good condition with no cracks and when they get it, the screen is cracked or there's damaged to the outer case, then expect a revised price. Besides that, they will allow for normal wear and tear, that's to be expected.

I don't worry too much about Google, but the horror stories I have heard on Samsung always worries me. I make it a habit of videoing the process of boxing it up and putting it into the package at the FedEx store when I do samsung trade ins.
