Google Voice comes back to the iPhone (No Jailbreak Required)

I had purchased GV Mobile months ago. I used it for about 2 weeks then Apple in their infinite wisdom killed it :mad:

It wasn't Apple that stopped the Google Voice apps from working (although they did pull them from the App Store so no one could buy them anymore). Google changed something about the Google Voice log-in process, so if you logged out for some reason and tried to log in after this change, these apps could not do it under the new process.
 
I just got my VoiceCentral account this afternoon. I'm not sure of the exact date, but I want to say that I first signed up to receive one on their site about 5 months ago, so they must have quite a queue.

I got mine today too, pretty impressive so far. Way better then I expected!

yup just got mine a few minutes ago and set it up.... looks pretty slick so far.....
STUPID Q I'M SURE DON'T KNOW THE LINGO: would this be considered a WebApp?

from what i understand the calls are billed since you're calling a number to call GV before you call whoever you want. texting is free.
 
I have to say I've been using this "app" for a couple of days, I'm impressed so far

It's so much like the original GV app, very fluid and easy to text and call out... I upgraded to "premium", don't remember what that ulocked but buying it was more of a "thank you payment" to the Developer.

highly recommend.... i'm going to use my GV number a lot more...
