Considering the fools at apple are removing touch id and I'm due for an upgrade this year and i refuse any phone without a finger print scanner, my 6s might end up being replaced with the s8, which already includes all this.

Just get a 7S then?

I actually really like having a universal back button that I know is going to take me back. In some apps I've had to figure out some swipe gesture to take me back to where I was. That said, big displays pose a problem with the bottom bar on Android already. I use on-screen buttons because on my Oneplus 3 reaching the capacitive buttons at the very bottom is annoying and the on screen ones are just that little bit higher to make them comfortable.

At the same time using the top portion of the screen is annoying on the new tall screen format Android phones. The problems are that the displays are both too big and tall for their sizes to comfortably operate the extremes one-handed and you see for example Samsung try to get around this with with one-handed modes.

That actually looks like a good mix of Android and iOS. Really digging the unified notifications and dark mode. Good find. Thanks for sharing.

Have to admit - I'd be more likely to purchase a new iPhone (I have an older one) if it came out with that OS. It does really look like someone thought of everything I'd love to have changed or implemented in iOS.

hmm, the slide over task switcher negates the need to the task switcher button. Perhaps make it a complication, like on the Apple Phone.. Where it shows the weather perhaps? But I honestly feel it's possibly stealing a little too much that I don't like from Android.. Also, any guest mode would need a contact owner button in case the phone is lost or stolen (and recovered)..
