iPad Got ink on iPad

I was thinking that ink isn't like something that would adhere to a glass surface. I drop stuff on my MBP a lot and most of the time I could just rub it with my hand or a micro fiber cloth. The screen is glass and you could just use a simple screen cleaner or Purel wipes. I've used both but never with removing ink.

Can ink damage and or stain oleophobic coating on the iPad

anything can potentially damage the coating.

honestly just try a little water. you don't need scads and don't pour it all over the iPad. sure it's not water proof but it's not made of salt either.
