Sorry for the crappy pic, my only other camera is my iPad. From left to right , iPhone 6S, HTC One M8, iPhone 6 Plus, and Note 5.

Merry Christmas everyone. Here's my current lot. Only last week I said I was fed up with phablets until I was offered a Note 5 for cheap.

L-R:
Moto E (backup/bike phone)
5s (renewed appreciation for this and to run my ️SS Link)
Nexus 5 (as the 5s - runs MM amazingly well)
S6 edge (side/upgrade from my S6 for the Sony sensor)
Note 5 (for £250 I couldn't say no)

Gear VR is good fun and really wows people.

All taken with a OnePlus One.

OMG, I thought I was the only one with multiple phones. Right now I'm switching between my iPhone 6+ and a new Moto x pure. I have a couple of windows phones, but the lack of apps (especially Verizon's messaging app) kills their use for me. I have both a Verizon and a Tmobile prepaid, so I use one phone with that account and my other with my Verizon account for my daily driver.

I have decided that going forward I will only buy phones that can be used on both Verizon and all other GSM carriers.

I have a lot of older phones that I don't use anymore and whoever said that you get nothing for them, you're right. I periodically donate them to a group that repurposes them for abused women. There is a drop off at my local Verizon store that I use.

Can't take a photo right now as some of my phones are at home and I'm still visiting my wife's parents for Christmas.

However, my current arsenal is as follows:
  • Nexus 6P: My daily driver and quite an awesome phone
  • iPhone 5: My work SIM is in this one. This used to be my wife's phone, but when the power button failed she got my iPhone 6 and I bought the 6P. After a little bit of fighting from a local Apple vendor's part, Apple replaced the phone even though the button broke down after the repair program had expired. The lack of TouchID and a stamp-sized screen are killing the usefulness of this device. I just have it for times I need a waterproof phone as I have a Lifeproof case for it.
  • Nexus 5: Good old Nexus 5, which finally got something resembling battery life with Marshmallow
  • Lumia 925: From work and equipped with a QI cover. Nowadays used mainly for checking how broken Windows 10 builds are.
  • Lumia 620: Backup for times when even the worst case scenario goes south.
I'll actually get a Lumia 950 XL for a trial period on Monday. It'll be interesting to see how Continuum works, but I don't think it'll win me over as the app gap is still quite huge. Gotta give it a try anyway.
