I think the large would suit you better. It looks super spiffy wrapped around a bit more, plus it means you can take the watch off and on without unlooping it all the way. Also, a bit more peace of mind in case it comes un-magnetized.

Yep, that's how I liked it when I tested the large on my 187mm wrist.

Yeah, if I had to do it over again, I might have ordered the large, but I am not parting with it and waiting a month! I love the band that much and I don't feel it's s big deal either way.

----------

Are you going to exercise with this band on, or switch it out often.?

I just don't plan on exercising period :)

----------

Very beautiful, don't regret my decision to get this now. But please tell me, when you compare the prominent haptic feedback with the 'magnet slips' as you described before, can you tell the difference? Is the latter a deal breaker in your opinion? Thanks!

I don't believe it's a deal breaker and I haven't noticed it since this mornings dog walk. Either I am getting used to it, or it doesn't happen often.

Each time I see a band I want it. The blue looks really nice.

So far, I have the classic buckle and black sport. Link and black leather loop both on order. Between the pictures here and in the thread about the brown loop, I want both of those, too.

I think I'm single handedly helping finance Apple's R & D budget for the year.

I'd just order the large one, and then return the medium one. Then you don't have to be out a band.

I think this will end up being Apple's best selling band. It's price point compared to the others isn't too bad, and it's both dressy and sporty. It won't look stupid at the gym, business class or weekend use. It all should go nicely with the sport models.

Thanks all. One thing I noticed is when walking you can feel a slight sensation when I guess the magnets shift and it almost gives off the feeling like a haptic touch. I use prominent haptic, but for people who don't, they might confuse this sensation with haptic feedback. I am curious to see if others feel this way when they get the band.

Exactly. This is the look I was going for.

I got mine yesterday and noticed the same thing. I ended up swapping the top and bottom bands around and noticed that the shifting of the magnets was much less noticeable that way (and looks better in my opinion as it hides the chrome part having it towards me).

I kind of feel the same way. If they weren't so expensive I would get more of them. As it is I have the Black Sport band that came with my watch, a blue leather loop which I have to pick up from UPS on Monday and a Milanese loop on preorder which has a ship date of May currently. I figure between those three I have a pretty good variety. I'm not interested in the link band not to mention its way too expensive for what it is. I like the Classic Buckle but it's a standard strap design and not really unusual plus it's only available in black.

Well after these great pics and positive impressions everyone has of the blue leather loop, which I agree with, I've just ordered one. The ship times are now 2-4 weeks but the estimated delivery dates are May 29 - Jun 11. Hopefully that will improve, or better yet the bands become available in the stores before then.

Doubtful to the last two points, but I hope so!

IMO... OP's photos kind of make the band look darker than it really is... actually a bit lighter hence the name.

I really liked this band from previous photos but after my try-on appointment this past weekend... man oh man, SOOO GOOD in person with the SS AW. It just pops.

Ordered it last night along with the Classic Buckle (both May 29 - June 11). Hopefully the bands (and watch!) arrive before my Hawaii trip!

Great pics. I've had the stainless steel with classic buckle from day 1 and can't wait for my blue LL to arrive.

Due 22-28th May and counting down the days!

I thought you could only trade for different color of same band

You can trade sideways or up for any band sold within the the collection you purchased.

I admit my pics do come out a little on the dark side but the band really does look dark in certain lighting conditions and brighter in other situations.
